Someone suggested Anzu to me a couple years ago, but I hadn't been exposed to anything idolm@ster so I didn't really consider it. I watched the anime a while later. Some friends were hosting an idolm@ster panel at sakuracon, so I wanted to support them and cosplay from the series during the panel.

I screenprinted the shirt myself, bought the shorts and dance tights. I had a long blonde wig already.
